Good afternoon friends! Recently, the use of various props for a festive photo shoot has gained popularity: glasses, mustaches, beards, hearts, etc. on a stick. Today I want to tell you how to make a festive props with your own hands (using a 3D printer of course) without modeling skills, as well as share models that I made myself.

The first thing we need is somewhere to get models for printing. In order not to simulate in cad programs, I will share the easiest way to make models - this will be a bunch of flaticon + resource for the simplest to model the online program Tinkercad.

Find a blank for the model on the flaticon website

Site: http://www.flaticon.com/

Important: you need to download vector images in * .svg format

Direct the mouse over the glasses and click to view:

click download in the format * .SVG

Next we need to transform it into a 3D model and make a connector for mounting the wand. The connector can not do: print with a minimum thickness and just stick the wand, but I decided to do everything thoroughly.

SVG to STL with Tinkercad

We are creating a new design in Tinkerkad. And in the opened editor add your model.

- open the import tab (1)
- select the file that you recently downloaded (2)
- we set 30% of the loaded size (otherwise the image will load on the whole table. You choose the percentage yourself)
- click the import button (3)

Use the ruler to set the dimensions you need:

Making a hole for the wand:
- select the Holes section
- we transfer the cylinder to the working plane (1)
- we set the size of the cylinder
- we transfer the cylinder to your model (2)
- select the whole structure with the mouse and click the Group (3) _ button

Save the resulting model in * .STL format and open it in the slicer
